Alaska Grand Journey - July 2004 : This gallery is photos of our fantastic trip to Alaska the last two weeks of July 2004. These two weeks in the care of the tour company Alaskan Wildland Adventures were two of the best weeks of vacation we have ever spent. It was this trip that actually started us thinking about how we could travel full time. Unfortunately, at the time we only had the Sony Mavica digital camera and these shots are not near the quality of our new Nikon. But they are a visual journal of our trip and I have even included the bad shots (and there are lots of them) as reminders of each day's activities.

The Payne Farm : This gallery features photos of my parents' farm outside Louisville, KY. This is where I grew up and where we are "camping" in our RV for the last couple of months before our retirement and the beginning of journey as full-time RVers for the next several years. I have concentrated on the beauty of the farm. The flowers have been nutured by my mother for years. These few acres are a haven for all kinds of birds and other wildlife. Hopefully, I was able to capture the essence of where I grew up.
